Product Image Library for Bouncepad

Previously, all images on the Bouncepad website were renders (above). Our customer service team regularly received requests for ‘real’ images of the products. As I have a photography background, I was keen to get some real photography on the website and felt it would solve the issue of customers second-guessing their purchasing decisions.

As a company that sells premium tablet kiosks, there are a lot of first-time customers coming to the website looking to buy. With a high price point, it is important customers feel secure in what they are purchasing. I pitched this project with the aim of giving a more realistic depiction of Bouncepad products, to improve the purchasing experience and allow customers to buy more confidently. I also wanted to achieve a clean and minimal aesthetic for the website, so focused on composition and lighting to make the images visually engaging.

First, we needed to build a studio in the office, so I began researching what photography equipment we would need. Once this was approved by the Head of Operations, I began planning how to shoot the 96 final images. I managed this project and one other employee – we shot and edited all the images.

The final outcome was a set of images that show off our products and their features, a decrease in requests for ‘real’ images from customers, an increase in sales and a more coherent product page that highlights the products.
